60-130 in 5.73...on 93 octane
I finally used up the remaining C16 that was in my tank last night and then filled her up with 93. A few minutes ago, I set my boost controller to my pump gas setting (0.9 BAR) and then headed out for some 60-130 runs.
Car has 3/4 tank of fuel. Weather is 65 degrees, 45% humidity, pressure at 30.1 inches (very good conditions).
First run: 5.73 with 2-shifts on a .37% incline. EBC showed peak boost for this run at 0.98 BAR (14.2 psi).
Second run: 6.14 with 2-shifts on a .77% incline. EBC showed peak boost for this run at 0.91 BAR (13.1 psi).
The car feels better on 93 then it does on C16. It's not as powerful, but it's more responsive and just feels "peppier". The low combustion rate of 93 really wakes this motor up.

Thats insane Scott!
Whats the most you run on pump gas as far as boost goes. I am currently running like 16-17psi sustained and the a/fs are dead on @ 11.6->12.0 as it gets towards redline. I have a tiny bit of MS109 in the tank, but thats about gone now. Need to go fill her up tomorrow!

I may try VP109 or other really high octane unleaded fuel mixed with a little C16 and see what I can get 1.5 BAR or higher. My motor definitely likes unleaded more than C16.

Wow Divexxtreme! Only on a .9 bar and accomplished the numbers that I couldn't even do with 1.4 bars. 5.73 is huge.
BTW, I asked you a question on another thread hoping that you'd read it. My question was... Is it possible to get a good 60-130 with a Tip? If yes, how should I do it?
Thanks.

I have never driven a Porsche TIP (other than my Cayenne S) but I would try flooring it at 40 mph the car and letting it drop down into the next gear by itself first. That may very well be your fastest way.
I would also try manually shifting your TIP starting from both 2nd and 3rd and bringing it right to redline before going to the next gear. You'll figure out which way is the fastest pretty quickly.
Thanks, bro.
Absolutely. Having a tip gives you an advantage in that you don't have to shift, and you don't drop boost between shifts.

Thats an incredible time...congrats...still think the Z06 with it's gearing and RWD could hang, given the same HP as the P-car...??
This is the point I was trying to make a couple weeks ago. I think the 60-130 the P-cars are in their element for short times..again awesome run...!!
