When you have too much lockup it makes it difficult to make sharp turns and maneuvering in a parking lot you will start to get the wheels locking up and screeching. If you have driven a 4 wheel drive truck at full lock its the same concept. I am not saying this will happen to you for sure because 50 is right on the borderline between street and track and I think you still want a car thats nice to drive on the street and not embarrassing to park. If its a stripped out racecar then go for it.

Subscribed. I'm RWD right now but haven't removed the whole front diff, etc... yet. I'm toying with the LSD option as well so I'm curious to hear of your ultimate results and how you get there parts and tuning wise! I love this forum...

I aborted. So no RWD for me. I'll let Tom be the guinea pig for the road racers.

well yes all the stuff that I could have removed is on the deck and some of this stuff is heavy!!!!
Got the last Guard LSD no more for 6-8 weeks!! so I lucked out. After this is done I am going to dyno the car and fine tune it then set the NASA time trial record!!
From my local experts this RWD conversions for cars of this power are "the only way to go" for track driving. also having a 50/80 lock up HAS to help with turn in and trail braking. Also the front sway bar will add a nice touch that I also didnt have.

there is a PBOC and PCA event later this month, I will post my traqmate and vid so you can all decide for yourselves. thanks for all the help.

also will get a new weight on my car and post it later.

RWD is fine but wait until wet/damp track, I know a friends Ruf Nardo GT2, if track is even slightly damp he can forget taken it out, doesn't hook up at all. He was recently at Oulton Park done 2/3 laps and said it was a waste of time, track even had a dry line.

600 hp is going to be a handful either way. I dont know about your buds GT2, but he's got no driver aids either (sans abs), Tom can leave the PSM on. And if there is a dry line, and he still cant make it around the track, something is wrong with his setup or driving.
