just replaced the clutch with a friend 2 days ago we were done so late and today trying to start the car and is not starting. It cranks but dont start.

Billystang, First check to see if your tach moves when you are cranking. If no movement than your crank trigger is n/g. After that check that you connected all the lines going to the starter. Tim

ok
Problem fixed today.
we found out we pinched the wire from the sensor for the flywheel,i think when we was moving the tranny to take it off.
so one of the wire was cut .
We fixed it and the car start right-up.
Thank God!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the help guys!
Im happy again

Congrats on finishing the job successfully despite the minor wire damage issue. I have heard that doing the clutch is more frustrating than rewarding. How many hours did it take? Did you use a lift? What was the most difficult part (I have heard that it is stabbing the tranny).

me and a Gm mechanic friend started 12:30 pm and finished 9:00pm
yes i do have a lift
if we do it again i believe will be 6 hours
Kevin said is easy to dissasembled the tranny of the engine, but we was trying for about a hour and the damn tranny will not come off.
off course we did it Sunday and everyone was closed
im sure should be a trick or another way,but we had to take the bolts of pressure plate to flywheel to disengage the tranny
we did the same think put it back together. That was the hard part, all rest was easy.
