with headers alone you will not really gain any power. When headers are done in conjunction with other mods you might pick up 1 or 2hp. I have played with a couple of different sets and ended up back with the stock which I had ported, polished and ceramic coated. The stock headers are very well designed!!!

I agree with Duane. I purchased a VERY expensive set of headers that were being heavily hyped a year and a half ago, only to later discover that they caused a reduction in power (according to dyno results perfomed by another). Moreover, the headers developed bilateral leaks at the manifold. I subsequently switched to ported, polished, ceramic coated stock headers. Call Dan or Allan at Speed Gallery: (818) 766-2321.

How hard are the stock headers to take off? Because I have some race shops in my area that will do the porting and polishing for cheap!

Thanks,
KJ

Porting the stock headers involves grinding away some of the assembly welds. Is it necessary to weld/braze additional material around the outside of the flanges to compensate for the weld material removed inside? Has anyone with ported stock headers had cracks develop?

Cold air intake is a waste on turbo cars. The car is intercooled. Once that "cold air" hits the turbo, it's gonna get very hot.
