custom wheel opinion needed
I have a midnight blue 996 tt.. have custom 19" avus wheels on it at the moment.. silver face centers with chrome lip... I will be doing a body kit soon, techart front bumper and sideskirts... GT2 style rear deck lid.. I also want to update my wheels... thinking mesh look style.. what I am looking for is some opinions on which wheel style and what color centers... I love black wheels on red, silver, yellow and white 996tt's but not sure with such a dark blue color car such as mine... I feel you lose some of the look of the wheel when everything is so dark... I dont like chrome centers.. but I do want to keep a chrome or polished lip.. I dont track my car.. its just for looks.. photos if you guys have them helps.. thanks

Since your car is dark blue, I'd stick with a silver faced wheel. Silver won't blend in with the car like a dark faced wheel would.
If your looking for a mesh style wheel, you definitely can't go wrong with the RG5 or RG19 made by Champion. They are great looking, super lightweight, and strong as hell. They are pricey though...
Check out member "WOODSTER's" car...he has midnight blue with 19" Champion RG5's. It looks stellar!!
Post up some pics Marty!!

champion is about 10 minutes away from me, you know their wheels are made in japan like many others... the only reason I might buy their wheels are because I like 1 piece wheels... thanks

I second the champion RG5s. If you get new wheels make sure and specify GT2 sizes front and rear and get the extra wider wheels. 12" rear and 8.5 front
