OT:What is a good lease price for a G55?

I'm very interested and was hoping you guys can help. I'm interested in a new G500 or G55. No money down lease, 60 months. Thanks in advance.

I remember hearing somewhere that the next G55 will have the supercharged engine, rather than the ~350hp one.

But as far as leasing the current one is concerned, I'de guess around 800 a month.

yes, 1 year production of G55 with a kompressor. Should be quite beastly.

Dont get a G55 unless you wait for the supercharger... 20 grand is not worth 50 hp

Sorry man, don't much more than that. Although the 2006 G-class will be redesigned and based off of a newer M-class platform.

But from what I remember, that's gonna have a 6.3L V8 as their top model, so perhaps the supercharged engine will be offered in the current body, as a 2005 model.

about time!!! that is one OLD design (current G class) that was slightly "freshened" up from an old 70's design. i'll bet the new design will be ALOT better and more up-to-date!!

Yes I would say since it has been little changed since the early 70's its time for a freshening up. I thought GM had long in the tooth product lines, but jeez this one takes the cake. I think the G55 is very pimp. My wife saw a black one yesterday and said she loved it and would buy it in a second. I like the G55's exhaust, its very similar to the SLR, its exits to the side under the drivers door and has AMG logos on the pipes. Very cool. Remember back in the late 80's early 90's when there was only one official importer in the US for the G. I think it was called Europea Int'l or something like that, in its ad it said the pricing was equal to the 500 S class. It was over $100K I mean that guy had a goldmine being the only person in the US to sell new G's. I wonder how he got that honey of a deal? As soon as MB let all their dealers sell them due to the SUV craze that hit from1991 to present, the price was cut almost by a 1/3.

Its a classic design, they shouldnt change a thing, the next one will look like the ML, what a joke, that way it will look like every other SUV in the parking lots.

I agree, it's rugged tonka styling is where most of the appeal is at. And the G55 with the twin pipes looks just that much more macho. The concept photos I've seen of the next gen look all bubbly, totally ruins the character IMHO
