Mod advice?
I just swapped my stock K16 turbo's for K24's and swapped the stock intercoolers for GT2 intercoolers and put a Fabspeed moderate exhaust on. (It is very loud and will be coming off soon because it gives me a headache in 5 minutes of driving. Looks nice but the resonance that they say they don't have is a killer!!!) Going back to the stock exhaust. Who makes an exhaust that gives a little more sounds but REALLY does not have resonance? And what about a chip for the above mods? Any comments would be much appreciated! Thanks.

Hi Gunther,
I think you'll find that most all exhaust mods have some resonances, however I really like the sound of my Techart Race Exhaust. You can hear a clip by "right-clicking" and 'save-as' on the following link:

It really comes alive above 3,500 RPM.

My Ruf exhaust has absolutely no drone or resonance. It sounds great and theres no problem having a conversation in the car at normal volume levels. It gets pretty loud as the RPM rises but that sounds like music to me but no drone whatsoever.

Like others who have already posted, I use the RUF exhaust and its sound is melodic. No resonance. No drone. Very quiet. I highly recommend it.
That being said, I am about to remove the cats, which I expect will substantially change the sound.

Gunther, just took off muffler from GT2 EURO VERSION. It has 300 cel cats. Sound is a little different, not too much. No rez of course. Let me know if interested.
Or if you prefer an aftermarket system, Phoenix/ Cargraphic is the way to go.
