Agency Power Intake Box for 996TT w real

With real world numbers. I haven't seen anyone provide 30-130 times of improvement the box gives. I bought a used one awhile back, so tonight i'll do a 30-130 with stock intake box with k&n filter. Then i'll slap on the Agency Power intake to see how good of a job Vivid Racing(Dan) did with this. I'll be taking data with my traqmate, i'll post it here. Hopefully Dan will give me a free goodie for doing this since non of his origal 5 free ones have given real world data to back it up ( or at least from what i have searched)

Get some 60-130 times, not 30-130. 60-130 is the "standard", so those numbers mean a lot more.

I'm going to do over the airbox with Vivid racing, since i did 2 shifts instead of 1 like i did with the stock one.

So far
91 degrees

Stock:

25-100mph
8,65 secs

First try on Vivid racing
25-100
8,60 (2shifts) my shifts are about .5 sec so there you have it so far. In the little straight where i do it.. i did pick up 9mph.. brb i'm going to go get more data.

Edit

New one is 8.5 hmmm soo lets say .1ths the airbox gains with 81 degree temps... also one reason why my results may seem like not much gain is because, 2 screws from the airbox are not fully in because the thread is mest up..ill work on that tomorrow and redo results, maybe it needs to be well put in order to make it suck in more.... i was hoping for .5 gain...

No one seems to care - but i'll post my new results..

I drove the car with the last 1/2 of gas i had yday makeing it adjust etc etc. Did a few modifications on it this morning.

90 degrees with a FULL tank of gas. vs. ydays 1/2 tank

The car is .2 tenths faster from 25-100mph.
It feels faster so i'm guessing the ECU is just adjusting. I'll go give it more runs... i'm hoping when it gets to 1/2 tank and more adjusting to be at least .4 tenths faster we will see though.

Enrique,

What other modifications have you made to your car?

Keep the info coming.

Thanks for taking the time to post.

I like people posting real data. Thank you.

I assume the air filter elements in both were "fresh"......that may not matter at all, but it is a point worth noting....new element in each....or used in each. Otherwise, very nice job...same car, same gas, same driver, same road. I assume you just floor it in gear and hold on.

Again, thank you for real data.

JB

Good job and I am sure we all care!!
I have had good results with my Vivid intake, fit, finish, sound, no blown MAF, and car runs great however your data is more scientific, congrats!!

Nice data. I agree, take some 60-130 data, I am interested to find out the results.
