This is certainly amongst the lowest prices I have seen for a 996TT. The best thing about craigslist is that it's geared for local sales so it would be relatively easy for someone to go check this vehicle out in person. It's definitely not a good sign if we start seeing more ads with sell prices in this range.

 

it is tip, and has a pretty ugly interior and no mileage listed, but I'm hoping for those that have them that the price would not drop that much. It's a $120K car new!

 

An optimist would say this could be the deal of the century. Since I'm not, this smells fishy.

 

im thinking high miles and it is a tip. the brown on black is not a high selling point either.

This does not look like the standard craigslist scam car. I would be bet it is high mileage and therefore priced accordingly. And being a Tip, well there ya go. Higher mileage 6 speeds have been on ebay recently for under 40k, so it isn't far off.

If you email them and they say they are out of the country and bla bla bla, then there you have your scam!

And that interior sure ain't helping!

 

Tip, wood interior, probably high miles, I have seen others in the $30's so it's not far off from where it should be. An 01 996TT is worth anywhere from $35-$50k depending on mileage.
