Strange Noise

I have a strange noise that I hope someone can identify.

When changing gears from 1st to second under HARD acceleration, I get a honking kind of noise. This occurs when I push in the clutch @ 6800+ RPM under max accelleration. Definately sounds like air. Sounds like boost being dumped / forced through tubing that is vibrating. Sound familiar? Any thoughts? I'm taking my car in for a boost leak test early next week. Mabey it has something to do with that??

Replace your Diverter Vlaves with either the Baileys Motorsports (AWE Tuning has them) or EVO Billet DV's.

That was easy!

Like KPV already said, your diverter valves are toast. It's a common problem on 911TT's. It's something that will keep failing, so it's better just to replace it with the DV's KPV mentioned instead of constantly going to the dealer.

Besides the diverter valves it can be as simple as a loss Turbo hose, if it is the diverters then have them replaced under your factory warranty.

I wish it were that easy. That's already been done!
