Does this exhaust exist for the 996 TT?
Not how a Porsche will sound...save perhaps a carrera gt.
BUT, exhausts are personal...
ones to check out
europipe
gmg (crossover)
umw (crossover)
switzer
speedtech takes top honors for pricing and 70mm width...
fabspeed
fvd
ruf
agency
awe
And so on. Do searches on youtube for these. Stephen and IA in general seem to have a large variety in house and know a lot.
I happen to have a switzer. I love it, but it is not a ferrari. It is a porsche.
Others swear by europipe loud. UMW's was shown in a video by midnightTT and it was nice. Speedtech is superb sounding and John prices them low.
It is super personal.
Check out these names on youtube...search here....lots and lots of discussions. TJW mod too...

GMG WCGT or RUF 590 with LWFW and other motor goodies to get it revving more free/zero clearance turbos will give you a more NA pronounced sound. But that's a lot of work just to get a noise!
LOL - Luckily a Porsche will never sound like a Ferrari..................
The good Dr. would turn over in his grave if that were to ever happen.
However, you can surely make your 996TT sound like one pissed off Turbo without pissing off your neighbors and everyone else on the road.

Gentlemen thank you for all the recomendations on the GMG- WC-GT system.

And what is the main difference between this exhaust and the cheaper model?
Thanks,

Alex, your pretty close why dont you come down and here in person.
No video can ever replicate the sound.
Some of the difference are design, power, sound, weight when comparing the WC system to the WC-GT system.
Feel free to give me a call and stop by the shop the GT2 is at the shop all the time and we can arrange for a test if you wish.
i was kidding regarding the ferrari, nothing will make a p-car sound like a f-car. But i am looking for those exhaust note properties stated above.... think i'll wait till a local car meet to hear all of the different ones.
from what i've heard tubi only sounds good on a ferrari, usually sounds like crap on other cars, especially the nsx...

I heard a 996TT with a tubi. For at least that car, it was not so great.
I prefer my own. I have heard a GMG in person (cross over) and it was very nice too. My switzer, per my PCA instructor wiht a gt3 mk2 996 sounded the most like his gt3 of any tt he had been in...take that for what it is worth. One data point. Others said the same...so perhaps 5 data points.
John's is very much more affordable...and he is super nice. As are Fabryce, Kevin, and Tym. You cannot go wrong. Stef too, btw.
