East Coast/West Coast meet in Las Vegas?

It's been mentioned before and I think it's time we start planning for a East/West coast meet. What better place than Las Vegas? Although it would be a bit farther for the East Coast crews (Speed Brigade, Six Pack and all the rest) I think it would be the perfect place to have such an event.

Any opinions?

New Orleans? Vegas in nice but not fair for us East coast people to drive almost across the entire country and the West coast people would only have a 4-6 hour drive.

I like the L.V. idea, but we need some place in the middle.

I agree with Duane TX.

Dallas to be specific.

That's why I'm asking for opinions. New Orleans, Texas, they all sound great. Any more ideas?

Actually, Texas is sounding pretty good. Perhaps we should consider setting up a committee to put this together?

You guys I am all for a national event, as some of you know we have tried in the past but it has failed. My idea is select two people from each region and lets run with it.

I nominate Porsche Babe as Chairperson, her enthusiasm for cars and car meets is amazing.

Would most of you drive there or fly? If some of you remember I drove my 996 across the country (both ways) and attended the Funcarsonline "event" in Vegas a couple years ago. Put 7,000 miles on my car! Not gonna do that with the GT3. Maybe with the Cayenne. Or maybe we'd just fly in.

We'd definitely do Vegas. Whats to do in Dallas? I drove thru it on my drive across america, but it was about midnight when I passed thru Dallas.

Anybody remember this??
