Stage 4 GT Power Output
Stage 4 GT Power Output
I'm trying to get a handle on the power output for the EVO Stage 4 GT package. I was under the impression there is different programming for different octane levels. Further I thought the "640 HP" was reserved for the 94 octane program. I was scanning the Evolution Motorsports website and noticed that 640 HP is claimed with the 91 octane program. Can someone set me straight on the various octane programs available and thier corresponding output levels? Is anyone achieving 640 HP / 670 TQ with the 91 octane program?

For the Stage 4GT Package, The HP/TQ has a 15% loss factor, and 10% uncertainty factor, meaning it is uncertain what your car will actually produce. You see it varies state to state, town to town, and believe it or not, varies by various ethnicities.
My GT2 dyno'd 631RWHP and If I remember 601-610RWTQ. I have programming issues as well, that I hope gets resolved within the next two to three weeks.
Thanks
Ryan

Shank,
Do you still have a dyno sheet on the 631rwhp run? If so, can you post it? What other mods did you have on your car at the time. 631 rwhp is significantly higher than I've ever heard for that package. I'm wondering if other mods had an impact on this and if it was just a very short spike of power given your issues with the kit. I appreciate any info.

Well if the 91 octane program is putting out 640 HP (544 2WHP) & 670 TQ (570 2WTQ), What are the official numbers for the 94 octane program?

My stage 4GT has a similar graph as yours but not as much peak hp and tq. I thought it might be the different load characteristics of the GT2 as your power builds a bit sooner in the rev range but since both our runs were on 2wheel dynos I'm still a bit confused. Do you have the scargo intake? I understand that Todd has enhanced the fuel injectors in subsequent kits but have not seen it in person yet.

Those numbers are based at the crank, not the flywheel. Based on a 15% loss that would mean 545ish to the wheels on 91.
