make turbo 2wd or just get a gt2?
at the point of confusion. weighing many options. thinking of even selling the car and getting an m6 (just for the change). bentley gt? aston martin db9. or do i keep the car and upgrade fuel system to attain 700+ hp.
how does a turbo with 600/650 ish hp feel with front diff off. i always felt there were many mixed reviews about this.
a thought just entered my mind as well, why not buy a gt2 with maybe 15k miles and put the mods on the gt2... my car has a gt2 body so there will be no major asthetic change... just the feel and knowing you have the rawness of a gt2.
any turbo owners upgrade to a gt2 and regret it??
i dont care for the 4wd luxury in the winter.
thanks.

have you driven a stock GT2 now, you may not be that impressed compared to your current car, dont under sell your current ride!
i got an itch for something new but dont know what. i love my current car, so the gt2 is my car, almost same look, just better. ive entertained the thought of gallardos to m6's and nothing makes more sense than the gt2. Then at that point i feel is it worth the 25k minium price difference plus another 15k in immediate mod money?
tom your defintely right, need to test a stock or lightly modded gt2.
markski, haha had 104 in her the other day at english town... the boost feels good but i can get the same package or even better on the gt2 and be way faster.

Best thing I ever did was go to a GT2... Converting to RWD, power mods, full suspension this and that, never made me love my turbo like i do the GT2, it is still TOTALLY DIFFERENT, you need to keep modifying the turbo to have a smile constantly!

i def need to test out a gt2 in my area...anyone want to give me a ride.. NY area?
im starting to hate the 4wd feel of my car in the corners.. its somewhat assuring..the 4wd and the psm, but even my m3 felt better thrown into turns...

I have wanted to meet up for quite some time, so let me know!
If you remove the diff and go RWD, that thrill will be gone pretty quickly. Seems like you lost the thrill of excitement for your TT. May be time to move on and try something different.
None of your alternatives are more exciting other than the GT2, and you'll want mods on that too eventually and end up in the same cycle. Maybe it's time to try something else, maybe you'll regret leaving the TT and want to go back, maybe not.
Just go test drive a bunch of stuff.

But your car already had power mods on it, and was a RUF for goodness sake. Not the same as if he bought a stock GT2. Going from a 650 hp TT with suspension to a stock GT2 will leave something to be desired.
that i agree with. however, hypothetically, if i get the gt2, id do a k24/18g package with fuel upgrades...so ill be at 700 and way lighter. and the most important thing... the feel.
ive never driven one, being honest, but from what i hear, and from common sense (lighter, different suspension and RWD) the feel is completely different. obviously before i pull the trigger id have to test drive a stock one. i remember clearly how the tt stock felt (suspension was extremely wack..felt like a boat at 90mph).
it would be a good test to drive a properly aligned stock gt2 and draw conclusions.
illm3 pm me lets meet up after this week and get some runs...
and the only thing, if any, that would bug me about the gt2, would be that its essentially the same looking car. a gallardo would be completely different, since it would be a drastic change. the gallardo is hot, sexy, and would be a big change, but 4wd and underpowered... unless you TT it.
