Question New York City Parking?

I just relocated to Manhattan. For those of you who live in Manhattan, where do you park?

Any recommendations for safe/secure parking?

Thanks.

I have private parking with my fathers company...

But to answer your question properly, I would need to know where in Manhattan you are looking to park your car.

There's a good parking lot on water street (darren can chime in on exact address) that will actually let you park your own car. I took his advice and had no issue at all.

Exclamation Parking in NYC

Wow, something that we don't need to worry about all that often in Cali.

A quick NYC parking lot story. I drove into Manhatten (rental car luckily) and parked in a garage not paying much attention except to get my reciept and get out the door to dinner and a play. So I come back at 1:00AM or so and the sign on the door says; "CLOSED". !!!!! What to do? I looked for telephone numbers etc. etc. NO dice, so I walked around the corner to a hotel and checked in. Got up the next morning went back picked up the car (the usuall million dollar charge for NYC) and asked the guy about the closure. He said "read the sign"! And there it was; We Close At Midnight

Mehrabani; why do you have Eugene Debs on your signature?
