got to admit though, I ran 275/335 Hoosiers at Daytona last week and man I forgot what an massive increase in grip they have over the Toyo's and Cup tires!!

once you run them its hard to run anything else.

I still drive my car to the track sometimes and cant beat the Toyo's for this but I will drop 2-3seconds with them compared to Hoosiers.

ALL THAT!!!! 2-3 seconds faster on the HOOSIERS, thought hey where close, So the TOYOs run similar laps to a standard Michelin PS2???

A short update. Just got my final day out of the R888's, how they looked after 3 track weekends...

I think the inside of the one rear banded on the way home after the track, not on track, as I didn't notice any vibration till well on my way home. The fronts are down to almost no tread (more left on the insides) and the rears, if the one hadn't banded, had some tread left, maybe one or two days worth! I was running 39 psi hot front and rear and loved the grip. A couple of corners on track had a lot of push, why I think the fronts wore out faster than the rears.

What are others experience here on numbers of days usage out of these?

I don't have a particularly aggresive camber (and will be adding some more next time I think).

These are miles past their best... I find Toyo's (average condition) when pushed hard will go off after 6/7 laps... A lot of people think they can take these Tires down to a slick level which is just a no no!... they hold a level of heat... these tires would just not be doing the job they are supposed to at that kind of level (certainly the fronts)

no, toyos are much better than the street tires, remember you are going to an R compound DOT tire. then the Hoosiers are MUCH better than the toyos.

remember 2-3 seconds a lap is HUGE!!!

WOW you need to be careful never seen tires in such bad shape. that is due to your suspension set up. your tire wear will double with the proper alignment set up, believe me been there done that!
