B&M SSK

Do you guys with the in-car SSK notice/mind the 1/4 inch forward/backward play with the shifter while in gear? I cranked the nut on the front of the shifter as much as possible but can't seem to eliminate the last little bit of travel.

Thoughts?

Turbo Racer is infamous around these parts
when I did it myself with the shifter out, I had to use a soft mallet to get everything to seat well. I have had no problems with my porsche ssk (read: same as b&m but the porsche name came at a premium). In order to fix this you may have to remove things again.

good success

The nut on the front of the shifter does not have anything to do with front to back movement, just left/right tension.
