I sold my Corvette about 2 months ago. There are a TON of used Corvettes for sale these days. Mine sold in 11 days. I listed it on craigslist and auto trader as you have. My Corvette was an O5, loaded with the Z51 package so I believed that helped some. What my advice to you is, besides changing back to AWD, find a bottom line price that you could live with and add maybe a grand or so to it instead of asking for the sweetheart selling price. If you think you can get what you're asking, or in that ballpark, then by all means stick to it. Best of luck to you.

If it helps, I paid 61K for my 02, 13xxx mile Porsche with V flow, DV, ECU flash, new tires and 997tt wheels (and original wheels).

I am looking right now, but the reason I passed your car is because of the mileage/price. I guess there really isn't much you can do about the mileage.

Another thing is I am looking for stock or VERY modded, and yours kinda falls between that.

consider that if you have guaranteed or counterpartied other assets that are costing you 20% then another $5K off of the price should be no big deal.

RWD would have killed it for me back when I was shopping around. I'd just put it back and list it for a good price and move on. Or, keep it forever. There is a thread on the 997TT forum showing an updated 997TT with a M96 derived engine block...so our cars are some of the last with the GT1 block....and its tunability.....just a thought.

Ryan,

Run down the reasons for selling this car again?

Why don't you just buy a cheap Honda Civic to DD and keep this car for the weekends?

Buying and selling cars in Tx is really expensive (6.5% tax).

Attaboy! Good luck Ryan.
P.S. You should have sold me your rear wiper delete plug (no one would've noticed that one anyway).

Not to go too OT, but where did you see this thread? I just did a search and couldn't find it.

If they are using the M96 block in the newer TTs already, that's real bad news for all of us and the end of a performance era...
