which coilovers to get...

Dont want to start a war here, but my car has H & R springs.. and from what I have been told.. its not the best set up for high speed control and feel... so.. for street use ONLY which coilover system is the better one to get? I dont want a very stiff ride.. I have 19" tires on the car.. I like the lowered height of my car from the springs, but I would also like a more controlled feel and better handling feeling for the street.. thanks in advance

the PSS10's are best for street guys only.

if some track events and need additional camber would go JIC since come with the camber plates.

Come to Sebring and I'll give ya a ride!!!

JIC's are still great for the street. Get the softer spring rate if you have to but the medium ones are still pretty "soft" in my book.

I had a very bad experience with PSS9's. If your thinking about going with PSS9's read this thread.

Do some searches there are plenty of coilover reviews.

Good luck!

pss9s are excellent for the street. A little too soft for the track, but a great adjustable suspension none the less.

Hi.. We are going to be setting up an 996 tt with the jic's..... I will be spending some extra time on this one to dial it in ... I will hit a auto X and the street (NYC roads). If the customer agrees I will try a drag setup as well!! If all goes well I will change over from PSS9's, They are built well but just do not meet my needs .. Tim

Do you guys think the JIC Coilovers have a softer ride on the streets than the PSS9's and PSS10? Let "say" you were looking to keep the wife happy , if you know what I mean. Which Coilovers would you buy?
