Huge Porsche wreck in Norway
Hi people, first time I post something about Porsche in here. We have a festival called "Gatebil" here in Norway, where everyone can come test their cars on track under safe circumstances. Today was the last day of the festival, and a 996T driver pushed it too hard down the far straight, pulling about 150-200km/h when he suddenly lost all brakes. He then proceeded to plow through 60m of sandpit, a tire barrier, then he went up a hill and performed two end-to-end flips into a sign and ended up on it's wheels 9ft below. Luckily the driver escaped with only a bruise on his arm, and of course a much much much thinner wallet and a sore ego. Here are some pics:

I will see if I can dig up some more pics. Porsches are really expensive over in Norway, this one is around $390,000 here.

Are you sure? I think a Porter Cable on that would look good.

No, luckily it didn't! He was walking around the site 20 minutes after the accident, after he'd been checked by the EMT's at the track. The military were having a stand on the festival, so they were actually the ones pulling the wreckage out of the woods with their tanks and diggers
