GT3 Flywheel

I need to know if its a good idea to upgrade to a gt3 flywheel into my 996tt. Will it fit with a stock 996tt clutch? What would i need to order from the dealer to do this conversion? Thanks in advance

IIRC the GT3 does not come stock with a LWFW.
So would make no difference.
You need to upgrade to a LWFW. Do the search.

Give Kevin at UMW a call. I believe that the GT3 flywheel is still a dual mass, whle the GT3RS is a LWFW. Anyways, Kevin should be able to sort it out for you.

I have the UMW LWFW. Call Kevin. No issues at all in over a year.

It is superb, durable, and reliable.

It is the GT3 RS /993RS/ GT3 clubsport flywheel, should be available from Porsche or from a Sachs supplier.

Alex, what the heck is that? How does it differ besides less noise at idle from a Sachs stage 2 GT3 setup?

I have a "UMW" LWFW (It's a 964RS Porsche oem unit) that I'll sell you for $200 shipped. Comes with bolts, starter ring, and a throw out bearing...

It's the same unit I'm currently using, but I bought one used from a member here and the installer refused to install a used part and then warranty it.
