thats the thing it doesnt read 0. it reads pretty accurate of how fast the car is going. its not a reading error. the oem boost controller and the greddy and pretty in line.(they are always just abit off, naturally since oem boost guage sucks) Anyway greddy, oem boost controller and the spead of car, right now all coincide and make sense... so i conclude it cant be a reading error of the greddy.. somewhere im loosing power/pressure.

still at work, will check soon.

can you modulate the boost at all via the greddy?
if so its not the greddy...
whats ur warning and limit set to?
If you change the boost setting and nothing happens then its the head unit....

warning, last night was 1.4 with a 15pct pullback.

at 28% gain, on my "Hi" setting, with the race gas, i started yesterday with 72% on the overall setting. that usually yields 1.25/1.3 depending on weather.

yesterday it hit .8/.9ish on that setting. then after noticing the lack of boost, i went from 72 pct to 80 and it barely changed anything. i did notice that when i lowered from 72 to say 50 for testing purposes, it did reflect, on the boost.. something like .7
so i believe the greddy is slightly modulating only downwards..

OK MAX IT OUT ANS SEE WHAT IT DOES?
BTW, something is wrong with ur install.... you should be at 52 to 55 % at 1.3 bars... who installed it and how long ago.
Ask all the the other guys with K24/18gs and a greddy and I bet they usually NEVEr go up as high as 72 or 80 %

Miike,

48% overall setting gives me about 1.16-1.18 bar, which is where I keep it set. Over 50% will bring me into the low 1.2's.

hmm... well ever since i adjusted the gain to 28%, as per our convo, marksi, i need 60 to 62 % on pump to achieve like 1.15.

if you guys achieve 1.15 on lower % then i guess there is a leak somewhere?

ill take it to rpm tomorow morning to get it checked...

i just took a look at the greddy and the vacuum hose is secured really well to the back of the device... i cant get it off..unless i apply alot of pressure..
ill just leave it to the pros tomorow.

OK boys. we have an update.

marski followed your advice, and took the greddy to max and it didnt do a damn thing. boost was still .9 nothing higher.

Took car to board sponsor, RPM NORTH. THEY FIRST checked greddy to make sure thats not the issue. they disconnected it and ruled it out as a problem since without it sympoms still persisted.
After, Tim checked diverters, hoses, then he found the F-hose to be the culprit. a nice 1.5 inch rupture.

He re-installed a new F-hose and now im back to normal.

First and foremost id like to thank RPM for taking care of the issue on a sat morning, NO wait whatsoever, straight to the troubleshooting.
To the guys at Rpm thanks for the great service!

everyone else thanks as well!!

regarding the percentage gain issue.. i guess i have another issue to deal with... No time today to take care of that one...all in all car is running fine.

Glad to hear it's fixed.... I tell everyone that the #1 thing they can do is pressure test the car regularly..... all the problems will show up....

Just by reading the thread from the beginning it sounded like a boost leak. Glad it is fixed.
