Carrera GT Lease?
Carrera GT Lease?
Perhaps this is a crazy idea. But, I hate tying up cash in autos. It just doesn't make financial sense. (Of course driving expensive cars doesn't make sense either, but it's an addition that I've never been able to wean myself of).
Does anyone offer leasing terms on a Carrera GT? What sort of term is available? I'd be interested in the longest term possible most likely. If I can get the payments down to a level where I could run it through the family LLP, my wife would never know.
TIA,

TIA,
I'm sure it won't be a problem to lease. The longest term possible isn't always the cheapest lease however, it depends on the depreciation curve the banks have determined. The only way to really know is to contact your dealership or another leasing company.
I worked up some lease numbers for you:
Cap Cost = $450,000 (assuming little to no dealer markup)
Cap Cost Reduction (down payment) = $25,000
Term = 60 months
Payment = $5094 + Tax
Assumptions:
-Tier 1 credit
-Lease Factor of .00271 (6.5%APR)
-Residual value of $225,000 (50%)
Now, to me the biggest variable is the residual value. Supercars in this price category are extremely hard to come by and I have no way to accurately guess the residual. So, here are 2 more scenarios, one with a stronger residual, and one with a weaker one.
65% residual payment = $4152 + tax
40% residual payment = $5722 + tax

Thanks for the recommendations guys. Will give Twyla a call.
Well...a 2004 Ferrari 360 cab is about 2K a month with 5K miles/year on a 60 month lease. That car is a 200K car. The CGT being a 450K car ....so it should be a little more than double the 360...since they are pretty much in the same leauge. So 4K a month sounds about right...I guess??
Re: Carrera GT Lease?
ok i just ran some numbers real quick.
I worked with an MSRP and a selling price of $440,000.
If the residual is 30% for 5 years which i feel is fairly reasonable, a money factor of 221, 8% sales tax, and ZERO down, your payment would be $6909/month. with 10% down ($44,000 for the math challenged) your payment drops to 6012.
I have an excel spreadsheet that i built to calculate lease payments. email me if you want it so you can play around with the numbers yourself.

You should start your own exotic car rental company.
Rent it to yourself and friends and write it off.
Or start a FlexCar deal, just like FlexJet.
Partnership for a FlexSpeed company?
