.8 bar in an '04 TTx50
.8 bar in an '04 TTx50
OK,
I've had my car for a few months (still loving it) and have got a grip on what's normal, what to expect, etc. etc.
I've noticed that the max boost I develop according to the dash readout is 0.8 bar.
1) Is this the "normal" max (running 94+ octane @ sea level)
2) What is the easiest/simple way to get little more?
3) What should I aim for 1.0? 1.2?
Thanks!

Thanks guys.
I have 1.75 years left on a factory certified warranty. Is there anything I can do to get a bump in boost with out losing the warranty? Or do I just have to wait?

I did the UMW package and had the dealer install it all and it did not affect my warranty at all according to my dealer.
Hi. Get a Flash That has a flash loader(do not raise you rev limiter) and set it back to stock when at the dealer...... There are many cars running K24's and flash with no problems.. Do the wastegate at the same time.. You will love it and in a few months you will go for some more....Tim

No, not if PCNA finds out and you have a catastrophic engine failure. (They won't 'void' or 'cancel' the warranty, but if - IN THEIR OPINION- the mod caused or contributed to the failure, that failure will not be covered.)
(Do keep in mind that increasing the power "could" cause almost any engine failure... heck, Porsche will turn down a second gear pop out claim if there is an aftermarket SSK, claiming they are 'too short' and the faster shift doesn't allow the synchros to work as designed... talk about splitting hairs!)
'951... methinks your dealer is lying, making it up, or never asked Porsche. Remember, it isn't what the DEALER SAYS today, but what PCNA will say tomorrow.
Many people go forward with mods knowing what it might cost- it is an individual call.
Also be aware that flashing back to stock can still be detected by PCNA....

Look at my sig too....I swore I wouldn't flash berfore the CPO ran out, and I fudged by a month....great upgrade....love it. Can't imagine being without it. Performance is breath taking....but not excessive so that it over-taxes the internals. Quite enough for me...and will smoke 99% of what's out there....but there's always a younger and faster gun in town. Just recognize that fact and know when to hold'em and when to fold'em. And above all....use common sense and be careful.
Ditto. Everyone thinks their flash is better.
Don't forget the wastegates!
