New 997 Turbo renderings

These are the best I have seen yet. Looks like a Japanese magazines Touch ups on a 997 and a damn good job at that! At least they used all of the spy photos to get a very close interpretation.

Why they are going back to 996 style?

I tend to agree. The overall aggressiveness seems to be a little lost...but that might change as I see the car more.

Dammit... give us a real sculpted whale tail, for god's sake. Just not Gemballa style.

I think I will have to pass on the 997 Turbo, at least until a GT2 version comes out.

totally agree about the headlights on the 997...MUCH less agressive. Every time I see the front of a 997, I can't help but think about that 'have a nice day' smiley face . Especially on the yellow ones

The front bumper air intakes need to be more aggressive. Looks too much like the shallow breathing, naturally aspirated GT3.

I love the 993 cues they have brought back for the 997. Esp the headlights. Also giving the front fenders more bubble- i think the new front end looks very aggressive and functional- rear lights being smaller and wider also reminiscent of the 993.

Eric, you let me down. You needed a modern beetle up there next to the mini to really sell the point. Can you update that post?
