shift knobs/pedals, help me out
shift *****/pedals, help me out
finally decided to work on some interior, and wanted to get new shift ****/and pedals... it would help me out greatly if you guys can post some pics and tell me what you got so I can get an idea of what i like. THANKS!
I have a great option in my car:
Ultimate pedals. I had them designed to MY specifications. I emailed him a scan of a cut-out I wanted for heel-toe and he made it. Unique to the world.
On the shifter, I have the tech-art round silver ball. Gert at Carnewal sells this unit (or one just like it). It gets tons of compliments, is simple, sporty, and shows no wear at all....the wood OEM one did not hold up. I actually think it really enhances the whole car a lot. My track buddies love it. And, it doesn't "cheapen" the car up.
Good luck.

Here are my "ultimate pedals"...note I designed my own "custom"....and I liked what Tom had and just added a bit. I used his set up as inspiration way back....mine lack any words..I like the plain look of the pattern without words to "wear off" if printed or just get in the way. The things are pedals and are going to be stepped on over and over and over.....just my way of seeing things.
**** is TechArt. It is super nice to use too. And it is shorter than stock (OEM SSK...to be made into a cup car unit asap). In the summer, even with a sun shade, it did get hot to the touch...just a warning.
These pedals are very thick and well made. The owner/builder/maker is very responsive. Look at his website critically. Thicker materials, etc. Having done DE's in the rain..listen to Tom.
