I will call and schedule a PPI at Loeber today. Should i talk to someone specific at Loeber? Please PM me the details ...i would love to have you checking the car as well.
Thanks.
what would make it a great deal? just curious.
Please check your PM. I scheduled at Loeber.
Thanks.
I think it's a GREAT deal if the car checks out as clean as it is supposed to be and with the mileage and options... That is the color combo I wanted initially...
If you can get them down to $45K OTD, that I'd think is a steal...

I am going to try and hoping the PPI passes. Did you get an extended warranty? would you still recommend one if it passes the PPI. From the research i have done in these forums - seems like the 2nd gear pop out is the killer .. wondering if the PPI can identify the pop out issue as well.
Yea I got one... Although I was told that ANY MODS will void it, mine was sold to me with many of the mods already inplace. If you go with an aftermarket warranty, Make sure it COVERS THE TRANSMISSION/Clutch.Mike
I agree 45k OTD might be hard. Because cook county taxes are 8.5% so that alone is 4k.

Your strongest position for negotiation is when there are the least number of factors preventing you from 'walking'.
Just FYI... 45k, 49k... all depends on the intangibles.
+1 you are absolutely right. I am actually going to negotiate tommorow with a check in hand and then get the PPI done Friday. There is no point of spending $410 , if the dealer isnt going to come down.
what intangibles are you referring to ? please explain.
Thanks for all responses so far...this forum rocks!

Just FYI- don't bother trying to negotiate price AFTER you've done a PPI. AT this point the dealer knows you are 'invested'- both emotionally and financially.
