Thrashed a modded Ducati 996!

Try Helibars, or Cyclecat adjustable bars. Quite a transformation, if weight on the wrists is too much of a strain. But, honestly, I just kept r-comps on mine and headed straight into the twisties, or onto a trailer headed to the track. There's nothing I'd rather ride in those places. =)
For any kind of distance on roads, I prefer a BMW... though, it's amusing on track too! =)

I'm actually thinking about possibly getting an ST4 come spring... Looking for something a bit on the sport-touring side of things and I hate my business partners multistrada...But then again, I've never owned a Vtwin, so maybe it's just me!
The ST4 is a slick looking rig though!

I have a BMW K12S for sport touring, you might check that out, needs the
Corbin though.

porsche designed an engine for Harley?
#39
Believe it or not yes they do. Funny sort of collaboration. The engine is called the revolution, it's water cooled and a V twin. Mine is 1250cc with destroyer heads, borderline radical street cam, reworked oversize valves, different springs, 10,000 rpm redline, 13.:1 cr with a bunch of other things. It has repeatedly put down 148 rwhp on pump gas (93 octane). It's a great design and a completely reliable engine.
It's in the same league power wise as my 2006 GSXR 1000 that puts down 153 rwhp (stock).

The entire line of bikes that the revolution or revo comes in are called V Rods. There are several different models mine is called the Night Rod Special. The Discovery Channel made a documentary which followed the development of the engine and bike. I don't have the DVD but I know a lot of people do, it's out there somewhere.

ok, I can call family as I have close relatives that are true Bikers from the 60's-70's and even owned a Harley shop in Havasu or parker many years back. I bet they have the video.

well, age has cought up with them. This is the first year in well over 35 years that they have not done sturgis. Yup, umpteen times they offered me free hogs, and umpteen times their sister(my wife) said NO! maybe if I tell her I am buying another porsche, she won't know until it's too late
