Would be greatly appreciate to any recommendation for an PPI in Tampa, FL.

Could you tell me what do I expect for a regular PPI?
Please pardon me for those strange questions. I am new to the Porsche's world.

 

There is no such thing as a "regular ppi". A PPI is whatever a mechanic decides to inspect, or what the client and mechanic decide upon.

Having said that, I recommend that the Porsche CPO checklist be used- this defines what is inspected and the pass/fail criteria. One can add a leakdown test (significant cost). (New plugs with that.)

The most important thing is to have a mechanic with a trained eye who actually has your interests at heart.

Should I have PPI done before fly out there to see the car? or go ahead taking the flight and have PPI in the very same day?

I plan self drive the car home for a big surprise birthday for my husband.

I would have someone go take a look at the car for your first to make sure it is what they say it is.

Is it a private party?

I'm fairly picky. If you like, I can take a look at it this weekend for you. Although Bob at Vortex will give you the straight scoop too. Can't hurt to have another set of eyes on it though with such a big purchase.
