82% feedback on that seller as well

That is laughable really...

I think I have a reputation as a 'low baller' on values, but I am confident that at $48k for a car with that mileage and history, daccao got screwed - and notably didn't mind. Case closed.

But do you seriously think either of those 'inmotive' cars are 'good buys' and accurately reflect anything more than a 'near salvage' sale? Lets see how soon the same cars are back on the block becuase a buyer inspected the car.

I can give direct feedback on this guy...I bought a car from him and I'm in the process of trying to wrap the deal up since Sunday night last week..Nice guy, cars are generally very good looking at his warehouse. Some were missing little pieces here and there but probably normal for used cars and he was willing to try and make me happy with replacing them.

But.....I'm currently waiting on a piece for my car from him that I was suppose to get mid last week. His answer machine is full and hasn't called me back since Thursday. I would recommend NO ONE buy anything from him until I finish my detailed experience. I'm local to the guy so I went there to inspect the cars personally.

I truly hope he comes through as his feedback is MOSTLY good with some people having some small issues too. Will keep the board up to date. He did have quite a few resaonably priced porsches.

Lol, I agree. I sent him a text and emailed him today asking him to return my call so I can leave feedback on Monday. The saga continues...

So the saga is still going on...I have the car, the car is pretty nice for what it is. I'm not going to bad mouth the guy too much until tomorrow...I'm giving him one more day to resolve the issues at hand or I'll be giving my review on my experience with a sour taste in my mouth

That's a great line! Hear it someplace, or original? I think I might have to use it.

It's been floating around some of the ebay user forums...

Although this was prior to the new ebay rules on feedback. Still a pretty good guide, IMHO.

What does this mean?? Was the auction as described? Where does this example fall on the spectrum of used turbos in terms of quality?

I guess my reason for asking is to better highlight my belief that there is a spread in resale value, and there are often real reasons for the spread- and buyers need to weight their expectations with price, as best they can....

Good luck on getting this resolved. (I know you can't respond until you've exhausted your efforts..)

It is missing the inside door handle that was "supposedly" ordered in Carbon Fiber last week. Minor thing but is a little annoying. The car overall is good and mostly as described.

The whole buying process itself with THIS seller is what's currently up in the air. I'll comment soon regarding my experience there when I get it resolved hopefully by beginning next week.

Great mantra. I wouldn't touch that seller with a barge pole.

I know. I have a beautiful 2005 AMG E55 Wagon I'd like to sell. Market is a mess right now. On the flip side, I just bought an 04 X50 Cab for a great price a week ago.
