Simple Coolant question....

I tried to search but could not find.....

I just need a Coolant Brand and Water Mix Ratio (if needed) to top-off coolant tank.

Thanks!

If it's just to top off... use water... this will be fine!

It's normally a 50/50 mix... you can run 60/40 etc. The coolant also provides a lubrication for the water pump. I just use the standard OEM coolant (Pink Color)... here in UK it's pretty expensive... I know others that have used the Audi version (different Color) to save some cash without any issues.

wait, just to confirm the coolant you pickup at the dealer isn't already 50/50 mixed?
my local dealer wants almost 40 bucks a gallon, luckily we have suncoast as a sponsor who sells it for much less =D

The dealer coolant is the ONLY coolant you should use. There are things lacking in the other coolant that will cse issues with the Porsche system in time. You need to confirm with the dealer if their coolant is mixed. The Porsche stuff normally is.
