996ttS cab gone but not forgotten:(

As you may have seen her in the FS section, I found another home for my Turbo S cab today and funds were wired and she heads off to FL on Friday. Wifey wanted to get her RR Sport sc in the garage and I wanted to pay off my PE650 coupe so it was a win win altogether. Things were quiet for sometime on the sale but all of a sudden in the matter of 3 days I had two buyers for the car. I got my asking price of 75k and a quick and painless sale so I am blessed for sure. I'll have to remove her from my sig but the memories will live long after. I wish the best for all those who are looking for the right buyer. Happy Holidays to all and thanks for all the fun mod ideas I got from here and allowed me to transform this car from a stocker to a stick of dynamite. I'll have to invite the new owner to join the family here on the 6.

Even in this economy, that car was well worth the money.

996TTSCAB is infamous around these parts
Whoever bought this car, he got himself a one great deal. I rather drive it to the ground which I will probably end up doing with mine than sell my 2005 996TTSCAB for this price. I realize you had 2 of them sitting in your garage but there is nothing better out there right now for that price. Did you keep the older one because you had the Proto 650 set up on it, or some other reason?
Congrats on your sale again!

03 has just under 11k miles and cpo for another year whereas the S had 15,923k miles wrrty out end of Feb 09. The biggest factor was a coupe which in looking back I should have done a hardtop S and would not have ended up buying one later. Some 25k in pwr,pss10's,ats carbonetics clutch in the silver and yes for sure the Proto650 hits so darn hard in comparison I would have a hard time seeing that hp go away. Funny thing is the 75k I got was the 75k I paid for the o3 coupe last Oct 07 bone stock with very low miles 1300. The new owner new he was getting a deal as they were picking up a lambo gallardo as a steal too. Don't know if you have seen the S cab with techart full body kit and other goodies with 23k miles and 68k. This buyer could have picked that car up for 64k but I think my color combo and wheels was what he really wanted. It was a win win imo. Me and a good buddy are already talking bout picking up a vette, viper or ford gt together and share the fun/loss/maint.

My car is STILL for sale at 75k in the for sale section. I think people either don't know everything about the turbo s cab or they are not buying right now. I traded my 997 for this car and it's worlds better. As far as value goes I don't think any other porsche can beat it right now. 75k for a car that stickered at 150k in 05' and has under 16,000 miles on it. Limited production, it's actually sad for Porsche, I wonder what they will be going for in another 2 years? Maybe 25k LOL.

Win win is right. Your SCab is a fantastic car and his money was well spent but you are one lucky guy in the current economy to find that buyer. Where did you adverstise? Good choice on keeping the coupe. It is a monster! Few other cars will keep up onthe street and track. Oh...and my 2c, get the Ford GT.
