Exclamation Quick Body Shop Question regarding 996tt involved in Accident in So Cal

Quick question guys.

While stopped at a red light, a friend's 996 turbo got rear ended by a Yamaha R6 bike, who was later determined to be drunk. He needs to find a reputable body shop to take the car to in So. Cal(Greater LA Area). The rear passenger tire looks to be tweaked which might lead to frame damage. Anyone have any reputable body shop reccomendations? also any suggestions for legal action? He has a witness and full police report which includes the biker fleeing from the scene. The biker was eventually tracked down by the police.

The intercooler was crushed, which may require replacing the turbo/intercooler/misc hardware. The body shop would need to have experience working on Porsche Turbo's.

Thanks in Advance!

the only guy I know that know these 996's is Raj.

He knows the Porsches inside and out literally.

Thanks Oak,

I'll pass the information along. I know he needs to find a shop asap, since he has no where to store the car.

Try Bells and Vaughn Carstar in Pasadena. The owner, Raffi, is a Porsche guy. They worked on a number of my cars, including my M3 that I accidentally let roll down a hill. Dont ask.

Oak is correct.

Raj definitely knows 996's very well. He's built many.

Bodybag has a spectacular aura aboutBodybag has a spectacular aura about
Deschler's in Orange. I asked around back in '98 when I needed some work done on my 993TT and they were recommended over-and-over. Unfortunately I didn't listen to the recommendations then. However, in '05 when I messed the bumper on my GT2 up and needed work I asked around and their name came up again. This time I figured they MUST be THE place to go, and I did. I COULD NOT be happier with their work and dilligence to make my car perfect!!!

Talk to Marcello.
