The outside isn't that bad, but the interior is one of the nastiest I've ever seen!

 

This one's actually been for sale for awhile now (bonus points for whoever can guess why)

I actually like the exterior and think it would look great with a gt street front end, some black BBS or HRE's and a carbon wing... but I agree... the interior is just unbearable. It reminds me of an old tatered boat that sat in the sun for years...

 

I saw a super hot chic driving a 996? that looked exactly like that. It seemed like even the tint was the same color. This must have been in 2004 in Geneva. She smiled at me, too

 

That begs the question...

...It's obviously a special order car... WHY in GODS NAME would someone pay GOOD MONEY for something like that... Kinda like buying fake ***** for an ugly chick, or putting lipstick on a pig!

I have to admit that after seeing the first pic of the exterior (before scrolling to the interior pic), I thought "not the color for me, but could work for someone else". Then my opinion changed after seeing the interior in the same color as the paint, plus the wood trim.

I actually like the dark wood trim with certain color interiors -- but not this one -- plus the steering wheel is light wood and the passenger door speaker is partially light wood, very mismatched looking. I wonder if they were replaced at some time, as the window sticker describes all dark wood trim.

I figure if you order a car in this type of unique color and trim combination, you should probably intend on keeping it forever as the original owner.

 

The seller's "buy now" price is quite optimistic for today's market.

 

I'm not sure that its the ugliest, but it has to be in that group, maybe not the top of that class!

OBVIOUSLY this was someone who lost their place in line @ Gemballa and asked Porsche SO-Dreams Department to do the dirty work instead..... LOL!

This color would probably do well in Europe.. they like those weird color combos. I could see a platinum blonde with fake ***** in it. Mine is silver on metropol blue .
