Happened on my dad's old 02 996. I believe it was the fuse that powered the phone.

Yep: Found it, here: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...into-tank.html

1. check the fuse (E6)
2. there is a valve in the fuel neck that sometimes fails (fuel bleeder valve)
3. there was an old TSB (TSB 5/99 2015) for fuel hose modification....but I don't think it effects your car.

thanks for the info!

Ill update. So we ended up getting a fishing pole to unstick the gas line. LOL It worked. Then we replaced the E6 fuse you guys were talking about. Then she took gas very nice. Crazy *** cars.
Thank you guys for all the info. Happy Holidays everyone!!

My situation is close to this. I can put gas in, BUT as it gets close to full, fuel SHOOTS out like Old Faithful. Not fun!

I should check the same things?

Thank you.

Usually with about 1-2 gallons until full.

I can avoid it if I pump the gas VERY slowly the last two, but it sure is annoying.
