Evolution of my 996 Turbo
Thank You everyone for all the kind words and special thanks to those who encouraged me to keep building this car even when we were bangin our heads against the wall.(You know who you are)
Thank You Evoms for all the thought and hard work it took to build this car.I listened to these guys every step of the way and boy did it pay off.Job well done!

lLet's see 200 more AWHP above 7200 RPM than when it ran 231@ the Texas mile it should go..............AHHH **** I F*ckin HATE bench racing!!!!
Let's get that chute on and GO RACING!!!!!!!!

Last Texas Mile, we would have been satisfied with 210 MPH. We had no idea what it would run so we did not guess and did not talk any **** about theory or what we wished it would run. Running 221, 223 and 231 was a bonus. This year, we will be satisfied with 232 while keeping all 4 wheels on the ground and the shiny side up
- Seriously!!!! It will run what it will run and we will have to wait and see .... PERIOD! Hopefully all of the bench / keyboard racers will come to Texas in October and enter the real world and actually drive their cars.We are working on a chute. John and I had a realization that the aluminum bumper support may not be strong enough to mount it too. We had this vision of the chute getting deployed and ripping off your rear bumper
We will get it sorted and have it ready to install when we meet in Texas!

Nice to know your seats cushions are removable because I think I left some of my breakfast cereal on 'em.
Some of the 1000+rwhp Supras that I've been in just don't compare. Two years ago I just couldn't have seen this stuff. Smaller displacement, laggier and smaller powerband. This thing also drives like a normal (ish) car too- other than the loud pipes
Hats off. I say that with much respect.
PS Had fun with my car here today (for a slow POS NA car anyways) too but watching/learning about the live tuning is such a geek-fest and I never thought it would be like this two years ago

Update from today. We spent all day with Joes car to fine tune the light load and part throttle drivability. We put the emulator to use and were also able to tune Sharkys 3.9L GT3 RS on as well. Big things are still to come with the GT3 as well. Joe, your car runs 100000% like stock now

For those of you that don't know, this all started with Joe and me, well mostly Joe... I was there but I basically just asked him a few hundred questions while Joe installed Todd's entry level GT600 kit on jackstands in his garage. When it was done, it felt like the most ridiculously fast thing either of us had ever driven. What it has evolved into is something that has to be seen to be believed. Seeing huge dyno numbers and track videos doesn't do this car justice. I haven't been in it since about 300 or so RWHP less but at that level it was absolutely ridiculous. Joe (and the crew at Evo) have kept this car in true concourse condition as well. As with all of Joe's cars, you could literally eat off the tire treads. I don't know what shocked Joe more... the 4 digit dyno #'s or the video showing someone standing on his car to keep the rear end on the dyno. For those that don't know him I'm sure the thought of a scratched cross member were on his mind perhaps more than the final dyno #'s. Anyway, congratulations on a tremendous accomplishment to Joe, Todd, John, and everyone else at Evo that helped put this car on a level like no other. Now bring this BAD ***** ****A home so I can feel what it's like to blow the tires off at 150!
Joe, I gotta tell you when I saw that guy on the back of your car standing I knew what the outcome would be already
105 degrees
Congrats again on the insane build, can't get enough of watching that dyno video. You deserve all of it brother.

Joe, do you know what boost level was used to reach the 1037 awhp number? I'm only curious as I think you have the new 12 mm head studs and I've heard that crazy boost is possible with these things (and o rings , etc.).
Congratulations that is truly just silly power.

Congrats Joe... like I said before.. you really deserve it...
