Yeah, my friend's looking at 2007 997TT's with 20k or less miles for $75-$80k (in the pretty expensive San Francisco/Bay area).

If you're already OK with $68k, seems an easy stretch to get a 997TT...

1) How much did you pay for your used 996TT? $60k
2) When did you buy it? Dec 2006
3) Year and mileage? 2001 with 17k miles
4) What was the original price, and how much did you bargain down? $75k
5) Did it come with the warranty, or did you buy one, or neither? No, private party sale, but came with the Evolution Stage 4 engine performance package (600HP), TechArt 19's, TechArt rear wing, front spoiler and interior package. Bought extended 4 yr warranty from dealer for $2500 which paid off when I needed the 2nd gear synchro work done.

CPO with full leather, red seat belts, carbon fiber, nav, ruffled leather with red stitching, needed the 30 k service, but deal included covered shipping from Colorado. Looks like it was driven in a bubble for the last 8 years.

1. 35k
2. June 2010
3. 2001 52k miles.
4. 40k, I negotiated for a month before I drove 360 miles to pick it up.
5. No warranty. Spent ~$500 in an alignment and maintenance since.

I put 5k miles on it, 2x at the track (first track day was 2 weeks after I got it)... worth every penny for now, I want a GT3 now.

Did some of you use a broker to purchase your cars? I’m seeing great purchase prices for lower mileage cars. I’m checking through this site and multiple Craigslist cities, but I don’t see the prices that you’re getting. Is it a broker or do I need to visit a lot more sites to find my own Porsche 911 Turbo? Thanks for any suggestions you can provide.

I'm not sure that I'd ever use a broker. If you put the time into it, you'll eventually find what you're looking for at a fair price.

I looked for 8 months before I fould what I was looking for and for what I was willing to pay.

2) When did you buy it? 10/30/2010
3) Year and mileage? 2003 Guards Red and 35K
4) What was the original price, and how much did you bargain down? $64,995 but the dealer knew they werem't getting that price. Gold Coast Bentley.
5) Did it come with the warranty, or did you buy one, or neither? No

Car was originally owned by a rennlister, I was eyeing it since he listed it but he ended up trading it in and I knew the trade in price. The car came with clearbra, PSS9, Europipe, GIAC stg 2 flash, GT3 swaybars, evoms DV, and brake ducts.

Spoke at length with the previous owner and was very comfortable with buying the car. I am as happy as can be the car to me is a monster. And its the best color =)

TTUEE -

Did you buy the black one at Park Place? Looked really nice online and the CPO is a big plus. Congrats!
