How much did you pay for your used 996TT?
I forgot to mention everything else is stock, wheels etc. I thought it might be high. Thanks for the response so far.
FWIW, I paid $30K for my seal grey 2002 TT, black interior with 82K miles on it. It has factory carbon fiber trim, full navigation and bose stereo. The only mod it had was Evolution diverter valves. The car is in very nice shape for the miles and year.
can't believe how much cheaper even premium euro cars are with you guys!
We have a fairly liquid market here in the UK for the 996 variants and I still paid $65k in Feb 2011 - an 04, 35k miles.

that's a great price...that car won't sit for long at mid 50's ...I sold my X50 for mid 50's and tell you what I could have gotten closer to 57 or 58 for it ... it was a very unique and very clean car...
If it had wheels you liked and all accesories you liked ie: lowered, gt2 wing, short shift kit, would say good price. If it has everything you want and you dont have to put anymore money exept for tuning, and was exact int/ext color combo your looking for then id say get it. But, if its stock other than aero kit, i think thats a little high. 2 years ago i picked up 03 996tt x50 lowered, cargraphic 19inch wheels, gt2 wing, short shift kit and exact black on black i wanted and i paid 55k. Had everything i wanted exept tuning. Hope that helps
Thanks.
In the end, you get what you pay for, and most people dropping this kind of money on a car won't care to pay a bit more for a piece of mind. Of course, there is always a group that will stretch to get into a 911 Turbo, but I personally know of at least 3 cars that were bought as "great deals" but ended up costing the new owners $5-7k in year 1 in fixes/wear items.
2001 996TT manual 45 tmiles, paid 76.000 eur = 111.200 USD, this is reality in Finland. Our tax on cars in general - especially on high powered cars is mad.
Prices in central europe, for example in Germany seem to be about the same in euro terms that prices in U.S. in dollars. A car like mine costs about 50.000 eur. Ship that car to Finland and you will have to pay about 25.000 eur tax to get the car registered for use.

Please post the cars that you are getting the alerts on for $30-35k so we get clear on the expectations. I can almost guarantee that the cars you list will have a combination of one or more of the following - high mileage/bodywork/abused and hence passed on by experienced buyers, with maybe 5% or the cars truly being a unbeleiveble deal.
