k24/18g setup with or without EBC??
So I'm guessing you're planning to run a higher boost level with fuel?
I had a FAST on my Camaro and an AEM on my Supra. If someone made a "StandAlone" for the 996TT, I would've bought it the same day I bought my 996TT!!!
And as Adam said, you can control the overboosting in cooler weather better. I have been having that happen lately as the weather has cooled where I am.
Vi-Pec. An new ECU (I believe produced in South America) that falls somewhere between AEM and Motec. Seems to be more feature rich than the AEM (and uses more reliable components), but doesn't have all the advanced features of a loadd M800. Price point is between the two. It's up and coming so you'll probably hear more about it in the future.

Hoping to have more info by Tx2K9. A product like this needs significant development time before hitting the market, we're working on it along with other things. I'd expect to see some new turbo kits coming to market in the near future as well, especially those sticking to Borg Warner turbos rather than switching to Garrett units

As many options are there are now, we still need more!
I doubt that any piggyback system will be a choice for the majory of guys... and with that said, I think we still need to concentrate heavily on decifering the stock ECU as it is has been proven to handle quite a lot of HP.... Unfortunately it is not an easy task... nor a cheap one for that matter.

it actually is an excellent upgrade. I picked up over 180whp over stock with the 18G. Unfortunately for me, I stepped out of a couple of 600+whp cars...wouldn't mind being in that club again...
