Keep in mind that although the Aerokit decklid is bigger, it is made of CF. I would say the Aerokit decklid is about 5lbs lighter (with all hardware).

That sounds about right. I was thinking a 5-10 lb. difference in favor of the aerokit. I didn't know the wing was CF, though. I wonder how it would look stripped to the carbon fiber and clear coated? I noticed it is removable...and I happen to like the CF look. Maybe an option to keep in mind.

Yeah, I found out the hard way. My decklid was chipped during shipping, and after inspecting it, I realized it was CF. My bodyshop confirmed this. I'm not sure about the actual wing part, as it's removable, but the decklid and lower part of the wing is definitely CF.
