I think I, like you, made the right decision. I don't really know how much power I'm really missing, but I know I'm not missing any MAF issues. I think my power level is adequate for the mods I have.

Power level? Don't know (no dyno numbers) but "quite a bit" would cover it well.

Mods: Carrillos, I and E cams, aux pump, rails, injectors, FPR, diverter valves, turbos, external waste gates, EBC, ECU flash, Intercoolers, intake piping and probably some other things I'm forgetting.

Thanks Al. Your mods list is extensive...could be 500whp, could be 800whp, regardlless, it seems the BMC filter works for you with stock MAF.

How big are your turbos? I assume this is well over 700hp crank package? And you are running stock MAF? Interesting....

MAF is stock but passageway has been enlarged, as in increased displacement=lower velocity. Have never had a MAF problem and I expect WHP is considerably north of 500.

I've had zero problems with the whole setup for nearly 2 years and for that I can thank Neil Orton and Orton Pefrormance.

Funny, I was just gonna say if I actually do notice a slight power drop (unlikely) it shouldn't be for too long as I plan on the k24/18g upgrade soon, or something even a little deadlier....

My damn money pit 68 Camaro is taking priority to get finished right now. I may sell it anyway when finished and if I do, that will allow for more play money with the 996TT.

I love emoticons.....

Turbos are K24/GT30 hybrids from Tial (3071's). Stock MAF for about 2 years with no problems. See previous post to ttboost.

You are a emoticon *****

My 69 EFI TT Camaro is somewhere in LA now. Miss it , but wouldn't trade anything for my 18G Turbo. Less power yet seems faster...must be the gearing...

Nice. Sounds like a monster! Do you have any performance times of any kind? 1/4 mile? 60-130?

That I am!

I am wondering if I will feel the same way. There is just something about old iron musclecar thunder and the terror in eyes it produces.

Time will tell.... but I do love the 996TT as a daily driver!

Yeah, everytime I see your Sig, I laugh. My Camaro was "almost done" for the last 8 years I drove it!!! I had to stop somewhere. You will love your Turbo more if you do the 18G's. Still a good DD, but can be brutal at the same time.

You're too funny, but acceptable now

With 18G's, you start at 500whp and are good for 700whp with the right "supplemental" equipment. At that point you are obligated for AT LEAST rods. So you actually have a couple of steps to go before REAL insanity sets in

Yeah I know. I have driven a GT660 and a GT700+ (with rods) and maybe I had too high of expectations but I was not blown out of the water when I got out of the car...

I am hopeless....
