Performance Air Filter
I use paper and change it every 10k or so miles. No issues. Cheap. Huge surface area. I am not convinced that for 1.0 - 1.1 bar it really matters too much...so I lose 5 of 500 hp. Big deal. I cannot drive on track as well as guys with GT3's with less power, so clearly I am not in need of more power.
I may change one day just to do it..but I have no illusions that it will be something I can actually feel. So far, I have held on to logic and left it alone. It is hard to do that on these cars.....
Sad to say that, but the guy sitting in my driver's seat is the issue, not the air filter.

Jeff: It's not "sad to say"....it's the truth. Good drivers with a lesser car can spank a mediocre driver with a better car every time. Guys go out and buy the Stage III, IV and higher kits and can't really handle a car with a Stage I in it. How many times have we read on this and other forums....usually written by the guys who BTDT..."The best mod to invest in is a DE day".
