You don't need the torque converter to do launching. As Markski mentioned, you must have somekind of boost problem.

Manual and then floor it, it will then autoshift from 1st to 2nd on max rpm, mine whips my eyeballs out so whats up with yours

last time I ran it 2 years ago had 500HP but 750 NM and have done many mods since then incl. the Evoms boost actautors, was only running 1.1 bar then

Boost on Stock 996TT

My 996TT is stock and it makes about.7 to .8bars of boost. Isn't that about right for a stock setup? Thanks in advance.

I know...I have one 997 TT Tips done with SPI 750 kit before and now going for more power on 997 TT manual

Btw my 997 TT SPI 750 TipS runned: 0-60 in 2.4, 0-100 -5.9, 60-130 in 6.55 and 1/4 in 10.4 at driftbox and 1st time at track with bad launch 0-60 in 2.7 the car runned 10.66 at 133...

Quality and service of Swizter is second to none...

I think we are going to do new poirject on this 996 TT TipS with new super moded G28s with aerospace technology which Tym just finished...
