Was recommended by Sharky @ Sharkwerks to check out Ernie @ Sound Innovations in Hayward for audio upgrades. This guy is top notch. Great dude and service.

Just got the head unit for now (Alpine W505) so I can have all the fancy stuff like Sirius (been wanting that forever) and bluetooth, bla bla bla. And also needed the little cubby hole installed to house my Greddy boost controller that I will need soon.
Also had him hardwire my Valentine One. Good stuff. (sorry for the poor quality)

Looks great. I'm interested in a similar project. What year is your car? Mine's 2004 and M.O.S.T is an issue.

Great install!
I'm curious about the V1, how is it fixed to the glass/top?
Could you take a pic from the side?
Thanks

I've been toying with the same head unit, plus an Nav computer..with MOST you need to replace the factory amps with a unit that can handle the low impedances of the bose speakers. Not a big deal, but a few $s.

Thank you. Mine is 01, and thats why I can take it in stages due to not having the fiber optic stuff.

It is just attached with the suction cups and bracket that come with it. I will try to take a pic later today.

Yep, and I think most people who spend the money for the head unit will do something to upgrade the mediocre factory speakers. I am just spreading the costs over a couple stages here. Like I told Ernie, most of my mod money is reserved for the go-fast varierty.
