well, problem is that they vary with each tuner, so you would have to have one tuner dyno all three and show the differences with his style of tuning to really compare and take the tuning parameters out of the equation. I vote for Tony to do the comparison

OK, how about some accurate info here...

I have K16/24s... My car made 510WHP and 532#ft. torque with crappy Upsolute software... it also was running along happy as could be on the stock Clutch...

I upgraded to UMW software, wastegate springs and 5bar FPR and instantly killed the clutch. The car is MUCH faster everywhere, than it was when it was making the above numbers... I drove the car for 11 months on the Upsolute junk, and at 4 or five road courses, so I think I can safely say the car now runs much quicker with the UMW software.

Not knocking Tony, but Kevin at UMW has a GREAT K16/24 setup and everyone who'se driven or ridden in my car walks away humbled, without exception.

K16/24s (and not the ZERO clearance units mind you) are a GREAT turbo and should be considered as a serious contendor. Some folks just don't understand...

Also, do you think k16/k24 is a step over k16/16g in term of output power ?

Thanks

I offered to let Tony Dyno my car against someone elses and never heard a peep!

All kidding aside, I really should do some 93 and 100 octane pulls so we can "see" just how fast the car is. There are a number of guys who've been on the track with me with their modded 500HP cars who have done a lot of head scratching in the pits when they want explanations of WHY I drop them like a rock exiting corners...And it damned sure ain't the driver!

Mike, it is true, the tune has a lot to do with it. I have the zero clearance and it increases spool up from what I noticed.

Mike,

Let me know when you would like to come and dyno your car. We would love to host you.

FYI, we do this quite often but rarely post results. The last car with your exact set up (turbos and software) we returned, made 20+ wheel hp gains at 1 psi less boost.

Its hard to compare from different cars, to different tunes, to different days. I will try my best to compare up with a reasonable dyno chart over lay.

So tony,

Can you says that your tune with exhaust, dv, 5 bar and k16/24 hybrid + gt2 intercooler can make 600+crank on a 996TT in tiptop condition ?

Cheers

Well, I can't speak for tony, but I am sure I have seen dyno charts on here from tony, and others that shows 500 whp or more and if you calculate in the loss from the awd that would be around 600 bhp. However, the one thing I learned here is not to waste money on GT2 IC's. the gain is not worth it.

Tony, I only mentioned you because you have all three turbos and you can compare them with your max tune for each. You may already have those results. I think it would be interesting to see the shape of the curves of each turbo.
