Calling All PCCB Victims
Calling All PCCB Victims
I'M MAD AS HELL AND I'M DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT!
Did you buy your GT2 or PCCB equipped GT3 or TT in reliance on the Factory's/ PCNA's longevity claims and with the intention of tracking your vehicle? If so, you have a cause of action against Porsche A.G. and PCNA for their deceit. The damages to which you should be entitled comprise your cost of the PCCB's, the cost of switching to the standard cast iron disc system, reasonable compensation for lost track time, and, possibly, punitive damages, to punish Porsche A.G. and PCNA for their lies.
If you are one of Porsche's PCCB casualties, send me an E-mail at the address noted below . I own a PCCB equipped GT3 and am organizing my fellow victims to pursue our claims together, through a single attorney in the USA whom we will retain together. So far, there are nine of us. Since we will be suing in one action, there will be almost no marginal cost for additional plaintiffs if they’re part of the action at its commencement, and the more plaintiffs there are, the cheaper it will be per plaintiff.
Our causes of action are not grounded in contract, but rather in tort. You don't have to have purchased your PCCB-equipped Porsche in the U.S.A., or to have purchased it new, to pursue you claim successfully. Rather, you just have to have relied to your detriment on Porsche's bull****.
There is strength in numbers. Please let me hear from you.

Suppose I have PCCB and am afraid to track due to the amount of negative information? I do not have any damaged brakes at this point but have intentionally avoided tracking due to the information available. Would I be allowed into such a lawsuit? I paid extra for added ability but now do not want to risk the huge expense of replacement.

I am a lawyer, but not a litigator, practicing in Toronto. The action will be brought in the U.S. Federal Court. I believe the action should be brought in Atlanta, but I believe that technically it could be brought in any district of the U.S. Federal Court System so long as at least one of the plaintiffs lived there. I expect no compensation for my involvement or efforts in any of this.

Two of our group live in Texas. Kindly let me know by Email why you think the attorney in Dallas you're referring to is the right one for the job and how I can contact him, and if what you say sounds right, I will contact him once the group is assembled. I'm just finalizing a draft Statement of Claim for the consideration of the attorney that we hire, which should save the group a fair bit of money.

I also know the perfect attorney here in Shreveport, LA. He was the one that drummed up a class action lawsuit against the car dealers in Louisiana for adding hidden Valuation Taxes to the customer. He won it and now owns his Porsche because of it.
I don't have PCCB, but if it was available when I ordered my 01TT, you bet I would've opted for it.
I support your cause wholeheartedly.
On a separate but not unrelated note, Porsche should've sent advisories to owners about the 2nd-gear popout problem. Not a recall, but an advisory to those who have experienced it.

Louisiana is not appropriate.None of the (present) plaintiffs resides in that State. The lawyer whom my goup retains won't get rich on this one, unless he succeeds in obtaining a significant award of punitive damages. However, he will be compensated fairly for his time; he will probably garner publicity; and if the case is brought in Atlanta and goes to trial (doubtful that it will get to trial, as if that happens Porsche will lose, so it should want to settle), he'll get the chance to learn all about track driving as a passenger in several GT2s and GT3s at Road Atlanta.
