Holy Mother of God Stage 4!
OK, OK, I finally got my car back from the shop with a no leak stage 4 set-up (thanks Todd at Evo)
.
Well ....
Uhmm ....
OH MY GOD! .... WHAT HAVE I DONE?
Seriously, I am now afraid to track the car! (I will do it thoughï*)
The car is now officially scary fast. Traction is difficult in second gear and first gear is now completely useless. I’m pretty sure I banged the limiter the first time I nailed it. The car pulls so hard you need slight corrective steering to keep everything settled even in a straight line with a second gear stomp. Modulation seams real nice and normal driving feels exactly the same. I will look at the data tomorrow and see what kind of acceleration g’s I can pull. Boy is this fun.
Also installed the B&M shorts shifter, feels awesome, boy should that be stock. Running straight pipes right now … I SAID I’M RUNNING STRIGHT PIPES RIGHT NOW.
The bling king is mostly happy. You won’t believe the bad body work job I had done. I’ll have some pics tomorrow.

Thanks, but I save any serious driving for the track. Also, two young kids make time difficult.

I don’t plan to dyno it but would expect numbers similar to everyone else.

The bodywork is so bad I may post a bad work post. Full pictures will follow when I get the beast done.

I’ll change it as soon as it looks right.
Britt:
Not often.
Thanks Shank.
Black Bear, 1.2 peaks, 1.1 consistent.
03tt, I'll be at Putnam Oct 1,2,3 so you will see video from there next.

Congrats!! Sounds like a real beast. You are right 1st gear is useless.

By the way, are you addressing the clutch and the wheel/tire widths?
The name of the game is to get all those ponies you paid for connected to the ground. You don't want "bling" power, do you?I don't mean to sound negative. You can skip the above and your car will still pick up acceleration in the upper gears once you can connect without slippage.
