ok then ... let me change my question

for people who have driven both, how would a turbo with a giac stage 2 chip compare to a stock gt2?
There is more to consider than just power.

True, but I think all he is talking about is the feel you get from straight line power...

Nah. Really?

I think cjv got that, hence the remark.

I know, I thought cjv was trying to say that GT2 will be a more fun car always because it can turn better, but I was pointing out that OKAJOON's definition of "fun" was solely speed.

Just for starters, what is the gearing difference in first gear between the turbo and the GT2?

If I am not mistaken, Turbo can only do 44 in 1st and the GT2 can do 48...

Edited...

The turbo's extra 400 lbs take much of the fun factor away from any comparison, straightline or curves. No amount of extra hp will be able to hide the extra fat. Likewise, can you imagine what happens to the GT2's fun factor if you add a 400lb passenger in it?

The AWD is the next thing that saps the fun. Too many moving parts underneath. It's like running with shackles.

So why then can't I find a GT2 that can take KA in a straight or a twisty? Oh, KA is a humble turbo. I appears there are alot of unfounded assumptions being made..... fat, awd sapping fun .....

KA is no ordinarily turbo with a chip. Don't compare KA to mortals

Besides, I didn't say anything about "taking". Fun is a subjective matter. A lighter car is always more fun to me. I have more fun in a Boxster than a TT. Fun can't be measured by numbers.

I'm afraid your car would still be slower.
