Porsche Street Race Hit & Run Florida
Guys,
Local news here in Ft Lauderdale, looks like 2 cars on the 35 mph A1A (beach rd). 2 pedestrians struck and killed. Porsche found abandoned looks like a 997 with a GT2 wing.

Yeah, the only way for the owner of that 997 to POSSIBLY get out of the situation is to play it off as though it was stolen from him in the middle of the night or something. Who knows...

I can't believe they chose to streetrace THERE, of all places. That has to be the most foolish thing ever.
Most people who do runs do it on the highway, where there are at least no pedestrians just strolling along the sides. You can still kill others, if you hit another car pretty hard, but the chances are much lower than compared to running off the road onto a sidewalk and mowing down various pedestrians - that's terrible.

Obviously a bad situation all over. Terrible end for the victims and condolences to their families.

I'm pretty certain If it was my GT2 I'd lend it to no one. Stolen, maybe although I'd be wary of getting into a drag race attracting all that attention. Maybe daddy's car..down here quite possible

^^^ It's not a GT2. It has fog lights on the outside of the bumper. If I remember correctly, that stretch of road is bordered by a park on the east side of the road. The rich little east coast kids down there are embarrassing. They were probably leaving Elbo Room
