I was invited to show the turbo this weekend at an Annual Auto Show in CO, overall it was a good weekend, met some interesting people and saw some amazing cars and bikes. Most of the entrants were Late/Early Muscle classics including a restored Road Runner, Cougar, Chevelles, a rare woody coupe etc...although there was a nice Bentley as well.

I pulled a second place in class, giving way to a very nice Shelby Cobra replica, it was more of a Hot rod at a Hot rod show.

Thanks everyone, was allot of work getting prepped but was allot of fun. One of the things that surprised me was how much other car guys actually dont know about these cars such as AWD, twin turbos, how much power can actually be generated etc. Most people have this misconception that Porsche owners are pompous snobs, some are, but when they realize how much you're into the car and driving, they have a new found respect, its not an American Hot rod, but a German one :-)


Im going to try and get more locals involved in the shows, would make it allot more fun for all.

Beautiful car and congratulations on the show finish especially given that it was a hot rod show. My Turbo is Lapis as well & I humbly submit that Lapis Blue rules .
